This is a hand painted symbol for Righteousness in Chinese. When broken down, the character means “Lamb Over Me.” The top half of the character means Lamb and the bottom half means “I” or “Me.”

It is a reminder that all people have a common heritage and are descended from Adam. We know that we cannot achieve righteousness on our own. We need a perfect sacrifice to wash away our sins. That is the Lamb of God, Jesus.

This character is a beautiful reminder that even Chinese people traditionally understand this concept of sacrifice. It is a wonderful conversation starter to put in your home and bring up apologetics or how Jesus has touched every culture.
